The Symphonic Jazz Orchestra under the leadership of Mitch Glickman recently featured special guest bass player Christian McBride. They were premiering a new work by George Duke at Royce Hall. Just a few of the musicians on stage included John Beasley, Bob McChesney, Chris Colangelo, Pete Christlieb, Calabria Foti, ‘Smitty’ Smith, and dozens of other excellent musicians.
